Probationary IAS officer Pooja Khedkar has shared her initial thoughts after being transferred to Washim, addressing the ongoing controversy surrounding her certificates.

Following her transfer from Pune Collectorate, Pooja Khedkar, a member of the 2022 Maharashtra cadre, has faced significant scrutiny in recent days, particularly regarding the validity of her certificates. Upon assuming her new role in Washim on Thursday, she engaged with the media for the first time.

As reported by ABP Majha, when questioned about the discussions and allegations, Pooja Khedkar responded, "I am currently not authorized to comment. I am pleased to begin my tenure in Washim and look forward to contributing positively. The government has not granted me permission to elaborate further."

Response to Certificate Controversy

Regarding the controversy surrounding her income and non-creamy layer certificates, Pooja Khedkar stated, "I am unable to provide any details. The government has restricted my comments on this matter." She then departed from the interaction.

Pooja Khedkar is an IAS officer from the Maharashtra cadre, having joined in 2022. Following her training, she commenced her career as a probationary officer in Pune. Her tenure attracted attention and sparked discussions among government circles, culminating in her recent transfer to Washim.

On July 8, Pooja Khedkar was reassigned from Pune to Washim, with immediate effect per the transfer order received on July 9. She formally assumed her duties, meeting with Washim district officials including Bhanweswari S., and began her role as a trainee in the Public Works Department.
